Suspected Walmart Shooter Meets With Court-Appointed Attorney

(Memphis, TN) — The man suspected of killing two managers of a Walmart in Southaven is getting closer to making his first court appearance. Martez Abram had been scheduled to be in court yesterday but hasn’t yet been released from the hospital after being shot by police during the July 30th violence. Instead, Abram met with a court-appointed attorney yesterday at the hospital. It’s not yet known if Abram will keep the court-appointed attorney or get his own lawyer.
