Shooting Near Delta Specialty Hospital

On the crime beat today, one person was injured after a shooting near the Delta Specialty Hospital on Getwell Road. Memphis fire and paramedics responded there aroudn 1:15 in the morning Friday. Very little informaiton has been released by MPD about what happened. No suspect or victim ID is available.

Shelby County Health Opens New Headquarters

Shelby County Health Department has opened its newest headquarters at 814 Jefferson Avenue. The county says the new building has state of the art technology upgrades and a more modern layout that will provide for betetr flow to patients and staff.
