A child was tragically killed and another is in critical condition after two boys were pulled from a small body of water in the Oakhaven neighborhood. Memphis Police said officers and other emergency responders, were called to the 3500 block of Shemwell Avenue just afternoon, for the report that two boys had been rescued from the water. Preliminary indications are that the children are three and five years old. No word on how long the children may have been unattended near the small pond.
