The city of Southaven is working to fill and fix as many potholes in streets as possible. The city asking residents to please be patient as the work commences. Mayor Darren Musselwhite says the recent winter storm that left a layer of ice for almost a week caused many streets to crumble. He said he does not believe the area had seen as severe a winter storm like that since the mid 1980’s.
