DeSoto County residents will get the chance to get out and enjoy Independence Day festivites once again this year. Argo Entertainment, in Hernando, is handling this year’s festivities, partnering with Homer Skelton auto delareships to welcome the 4th of July holiday. Southaven held their event yesterday, along with Hernando’s Front Porch Fireworks Spectacular at the Hernando Civic Center ballfields. Today, the city of Hernando hosts the Optimist Club Independence Day Bicycle Parade at 6pm at Hernando Baptist CHurch. The parade route ends at Panola Street. Also, Olive Branch’s Celebrate Your Independence Fireworks and Festival is at the city park starting at 7pm. On Saturday, Southaven’s Fireworks Extravaganza is hosted by BankPlus Amphitheater starting at 7pm.
