Hernando City Leaders Presented With Proposed Parks Improvements

Hernando city leaders got their first look at proposed city park improvements last week. But the improvements come with a condition. Voters must first approved the “pennies for parks” tax in November. Architects from Kimley-Horn unveiled their prelimiinary plans that include two quadplex baseball and softball fields at Renesant Park, along with other amenities that would be added to Milton Kuykendall Park, like basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, walking trails, and open areas for other activities.
