The Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce president and CEO is stepping down. Beverly Robertson was hited as the chamber’s first black leader. She announced Thursday that she wojld resign at the end of this year. Robertson also led the National Civil Rights Museum before becoming the leader of the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce. She helped lift up the chamber and the city after the shooting death of former president Phil Trenary.
