The Shelby County COmmission is geting ready to vote again to approve millions of dollars for new voting machines, but there is still controversy over the decision. County Commissioners are considering a resolution to allocate almost 6 million dollars to the election commission. The election commsssion wants the new electronic ballot marker machines by the August election, but the majority of county commissioners have been advocating for papwer ballots. The commission already denied the funding once, which was followed by a lawsuit from the election commission.
