Memphis International Airport is gearing up for the busiest holiday season since the pandemic started almost three years ago, now. Airport officials sauy they’re expecting some 80-thousand travelers to pass through security checkpoints over the next week, with high volumens beginning today. That’s about 4 percent more travelers than last year’s Thanksgiving holiday season and five percent more than 2019, before the pandemic. Remember to arrive at least two hours before your scheduled take off time.
