A Southaven man is getting into the race for the House District 7 seat in Mississippi. Incumbent Steven Hopkins has annoucned he will not run again. Now, Progerian Walker, a tour bus company operator, has announced he will run as a Republican. Walker says he will work hard to bring more funding to north Missisippi for much-needed infrastructure projects. He said he would be a strong conservative voice in Jackson for DeSoto County. Walker is the owner of P. Walker Travel Tours.
