And Southaven city leaders are revising an ordinance regarding trash and rubbish. The city will no longer pick up large amounts of trash left on streets, forcing residents to pay to haul it off. The vote was unanimous to change the city’s code on excessive amounts of limbs and yard waste. Property owners will be given seven days to have the waste removed. The new ordinance will go into effect in 30 days.
