Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland is lashing out at the Shelby County DA, over a decision to throw out charges against a woman accused of opening fire at a police officer. Strickland said the woman was even caught on video last November, firing shots from an open car window at the police precinct on Raines Road. DA Steve Mulroy said the decision to drop charges was made after a throough review of the evidence and statements. He’s expected to make more comments later today at a news conference.
