Memphis Woman Accused Of Leaving Retired MPD Detective To Die In His Driveway

The case of a slain retired Memphis homicide detective continues to unfold, as we learn that a woman is now jailed for robbing the man before his death. Shuntae Daniels is charged with aggravated burglary, theft, and illegal computer access. Retired detective Mark LeSure was found dead in the 4200 block of Falcon Street. Polcie said they used surveillance footage from LeSure’s home to see that Daniels arrived at his home on July 9th, where the two had an argument pver money. LeSure had gone inside to get 10-dollars to give to Daniels, but he collapsed in the driveway near his car. Daniels is then accused of taking LeSure’s cell phone and wallet after sifting through his pockets. She is then also accused of using LeSure’s ophone to access LeSure’s bank accounts and send herself 15-hundred dollars cash. Further, polcie say Daniels then went and purchased shoes and had her hair done and got a manicure… all while she left LeSure to die in his driveway.
