Yet another massive power outage in the MLGW grid. Tuesday storms knocked oput power to more than 138-thousand homes and businesses. After storms two weeks ago caused the utility’s second-largest outage ever, MLGW said Tuesday’s storms were the third largest. The largest outage ever was Feburray 2022’s ice storm. Widespread outages were also reported in Germantown and Collierville, where downed trees were blocking several main roads.
