Some Hernando residents werre without water on Tuesday after a reported water main break. The city sent out a notice late Tuesday evening informing residents of the problem, which was caused by a city contractor laying pipe for a new storm drain. The crew struck a large water main near Compell Church on McIngvale Road. The outage was affecting a large area along McIngvale Road, north of Commerce Street. The city did not provide a timeframe as to when the problem would be resolved.
